Hi all, i hope you can help.
Ive recently built a PC which has an onboard HDMI & DVI port.
When i first installed the operating system everything was fine. DVI worked fine and so did the HDMI, all though the scaling was off on the hdmi. The desktop was larger than the TV screen, so i tried adjusting the scaling but no i dont get any HDMI output. Its like its been disabled. I do see the BIOS information through HDMI when i boot up and the Windows 7 boot screen then nothing (No video or sound)

As a last resort i suppose i could try reinstalling windows but just hoping there was an easy alternative which you guys could suggest.

Thank you

Luke

Sorted it. Realised it was software based as i could see the BIOS information through HDMI. I just reinstalled the operating system (with it being a new build) and it came back to life.

I followed you advice and adjusted the TV settings and it all good now.

Surprised that the HDMI setting are so touchy.

Thank you for your advice.
