Hello. I'm trying to figure out which of my gaming comp's components isnt working.

I've had it for a couple years now, and this is the first time it has ever shown any sign of something not working right.

I was playing a game in Windows 7, when the comp just randomly and instantly shut off and restarted itself. When it came back on It failed to boot into any OS. Though the boot manager worked properly, and I can still get into the bios. The preboot screen for Linux is filled with many lines of errors. And windows just goes into an infinite load screen.
The only other wierd thing is that my keyboard doesn't work in the bios while it works in the boot manager.

Here is my build:
Processor=AMD Phenom II 4x 960T
Motherboard=ASUS M5A99X Evo
PSU=CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750
RAM=G.SKILL Ripjaws Series x2 4GB
Graphics=XFX Double D Radeon HD6870

Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you have any ideas or insight you could share I would be most gratefull.

EDIT:
After leaving the computer off for the night, it has now successfully booted as usual. Making me think something was overheated and needed to cool off. And as Bradley said it might be the PSU. I'll be doing some diagnostics now to see what comes up.

The same sort of thing happened to me - I beleive the problem for me was power. My power supply was very cheap and so was underperforming - also, i had my PC plugged into an extension lead. Since upgrading the PSU and plugging my PC directly into a wall socket, it has never happened again. This is one thing you could try.
An explanation for not booting could be thatyour when your PC shut itself off, windows may have been doing updates or using resources that have now become currupt.
Hope this is of help to you
