Here is what I am hoping to achieve with your help. Im on a $500 budget and been looking to upgrade my desktop into a decent gaming rig. I need mobo, gpu, cpu, psu, and case. If someone can help me with a mobo, gpu, cpu combo thats good and for maybe $450 total I think I may be able to find them used for a cheap enough price to have enough money still for the case and psu. What do you think?

Thank you for help choosing these parts but the cpu is only in-store pickup and it's about 7 hours to their closest store for me. lol

Prices change daily. The links will actually provide you list of vendors that sell the products. The processor was cheapest at Amazon at the time of the post but Microcenter is the current lowest price vendor.

Perfect I didn't realize they would update like that. Thank you so much for the help. You were able to find some pretty good hardware far better than what I had worked out so far with such a small budget.
