Hello, i saw this logitech potentiometer on you'r website and i need to find out where to get this part, or atleast how it is called. I need to replace it in my steering wheel. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pc-racing,470-2.html
I'm assuming here you are adept at soldering/desoldering. First remove the existing potentiometer then you can attempt to match up the model number on one of these sites http://www.mouser.com/Passive-Components/PotentiometersTrimmers-Rheostats/Potentiometers/_/N-9q0yp/ or http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en/potentiometers-variable-resistors/rotary-potentiometers-linear/262965 I linked linear types because I would assume (may not be though) that is the type used in a steering wheel. As you can see, there are a lot of options
This is the actual one..yeah i kinda "tweaked" and glued something so the pot won't move with the wheel..but now it's worn out. So could you suggest me what pot i should look for?
Is what you're calling the potentiometer what the main wheel is turning? If so, I don't think it's a potentiometer. It may be a rotary switch.
Yes, that's it. I also found it's called a Rotary potentiometer F-Shaft. But still need the details, or atleast can somebody explain to me what does that values mean?
do you have, or have access to, a digital or analog ohm-meter? might be able to grab values from the old one. if we get proper values, I can understand the markings better.
