Hello,
I currently have a Vertex 3 with Windows 7 OEM. I am upgrading my system, including a new mobo, and have decided to take the plunge and use Windows 8.
I want to install Windows 8 on the SSD. Lets assume that I have completed the build, and connected the SSD to the system for the first time. Since it already has as OS, should I:
1) Use Parted Magic to Secure Erase, and then install Windows 8?
or
2) Just boot from the Windows 8 DVD and let it delete the old OS and format the drive?
Thanks!
