So I have a WDC 2 TB hardrive which I got a month ago.
Every once in awhile I would be watching a series or something like that from the hardrive. Suddenly it would freeze and I'd have to restart the pc. When it's done restarting I'd go into my computer and I'd find that the hardrive is still there but in the RAW file type (unformatted).
This happens frequently and I'd have to format it for it to work again, but this morning it happened again but I turned the pc off and went to school. When I returned it was fine and all my data was still there?
I'm using Windows 8 x64 bit and the pc I use is fairly new.
