hey guyz i am planed to buy new pc with 4 gig ram i am confused about which one should i have to buy 1x4 Gb Or 2x2-4GB ram i use them on lga 1150 msi z77p-g41 Motherboard for overcloking so please help me and replay me

it is recommended u go for for 2x2GB, but look at if ur Motherboard have enough slots for future upgrades

2 x 2GB will allow for dual channel mode. It gains you a 5-7% performance advantage. So go with 2 matched sticks.
 


i'd go with 2, you can safely go with 1, but there is a slight performance hit, AND there is a temp jump on your nb architecture... generally speaking you like to pair ram whenever possible. That said you are using an intel, so it's safe to go with 1 if you insist.

thank's guys msi z77a-g41 is 4slots momory i have already (old )2x2 4gb mhz??????{( Is it effect the memory with new one??? wei in win7--6.5 )}_ ram but i doen't want to upgrad at futre so i buy a 2x2 cosair ram 1600mhz

tell me my old ram 4gb wei 6.5 and new rams are 1600mhz can it give me problum while overcloking

RAM has nothing to do with overclocking on a Z77 motherboard.

WEI means nothing. It's not a good benchmark.
