Will Q3 release i7-4960X work in ASUS Rampage IV Extreme?

RIVE MB booting Win 7 Ult on an OWC PCI-E SSD.
Have the i7-3970X in there now. When Ivy Bridge-E Line is released in a few weeks, will I able to swap out for i7-4960x? Googled around but no direct answers.
Looking for a yes or no and why

Intel has indicated that Ivy Bridge-E will still utilize LGA 2011 sockets. Due to this, there is a high likelihood that Asus will provide a bios update to support the new chips once they are released.
