I have been having an issue when playing SWTOR where my PC will either freeze (forcing reboot) or out right turn off. When monitoring the system to get a feel for the cause I found during play the GPU ran stead around 80 C while the CPU held firm around 60 C; however, this was with the side of the PC open and a box fan blowing in the case.

When removing the fan... The GPU held stead at 80 while the CPU jumped to 85 and the PC froze. After getting back up and running it steadily climbed to 86 and froze again. For the amount of money I spent on this system I don't believe that I should have to keep the case open nor should I be having issues playing this game. It has been a sore spot to say the least. Here are the components in the PC:

MODEL1 C SERIES
CU-154-120 AMD FX-8120 3.1GHZ RETAIL
HD-403-306 1TB SATA III 7200 RPM 3.5" HARD DRIVE

SC-102-144 CL SB X-FI XTREME AUDIO RETAIL

FD-ASS-107 BLACK 3.5 MOUNTING KIT
PS-129-103 RAIDMAX RX-1200AE 1200 WATT 80 PLUS GOLD POWER SUPPLY

I am willing to do just about anything to resolve this issue. I would like to get the temp down on both the CPU and GPU. Replacing the cooling system, adding another GPU for SLI, replacing the CPU is all fine by me as long as I can find a solution to my problems.

I hope you all can help.
