Hi there

I had a PC built for me from intel. It had Bios settings and I had to remove the battery stupidly resetting the BIOS.

Now the PC wont boot, it can go into BIOS and will Run Startup Repair and find nothing.

Here is the system:

INTEL H61 CHIPSET 3RD GERERATION CORE I7 MICRO ATX
INTEL IVY BRIDGE CORE i5-3470 3.2GHz/3.6GHz 6M 133
SEAGATE SATA III 6Gb/s 500GB 7200RPM 16MB HDD
8GB PC1600 240PIN DDR3 MODULE

Now I am guessing i need to update my Bios or tweak some settings.

It gets to the Microsoft startup screen before login and looks like it just stops half way and re starts. No beeps, No sounds. Was working perfectly 20 min ago before battery removal.

Dont know how to update, if i should, where to find updates for this specific pc...

Appreciate the help

sounds like when i get a bad overclock. check all your memory and cpu settings as well as what mode your hdd is on. do you know if it was set for ide or ahci

i dont know if a bios upadte will help but backup your bios just incase and download your new bios from the manufacturers site and put it on a flash drive. the utility should be in the bios to flash it
