Hey guys i posted another thread about this and i thought i fixed it, but i have not. I recently bought another 680 ftw and put them in SLI. SLI in enabled and my computer detects both are there. When i go into games on my 3 monitors, sometimes both cards will be working, but then one card will just randomly drop out, and then 5 seconds later come back in. This is making my frame rate randomly drop, and i never know when it is coming. When i monitor what is happening when the second card drops out, it turns down its clock speed from 1254 MHz to 354 MHz and acts like it is idling, then it picks back up to 1254 MHz, and keeps repeating this. Any help is very much appreciated, thanks.

Battlefield 3, Crysis 3, and Dead Space 3. And yes i ran uningine heaven 4.0, I would be getting like 100 fps on ultra, and then it would drop down to like 6, then bump back up. But yes, when the 2nd card doesn't bump itself down both cards are being utilized.

I don't think its a bad card because it works sometimes but it doesn't other times, but i will check and i'll tell you what happens

Ok, so i took out the original 680, and ran my games with just the new one. I had the frames jumping up and down, so it must be with this card. I am going to dry making this card the one in the 1st pci-e slot and put the first one in the second slot, and i will see if it makes a difference.
