Hello, I am looking at purchasing my pc parts by friday but have had my plan to buy from Pixmania run into a couple of problems. They are awful. If anyone else could suggest a website where the prices are roughly the same as pixmania that would be great! I have looked at Dabs, overclockers uk, scan and ebuyer but they are all quite far out of my price range. I realise that I am being very picky but does anyone know of a cheap website??

Thanks

I've found CCLonline to be a cheaper company. I've used them before and have had no problems. mirroring what the others say, PC part picker shows a small list of reputable and cheaper companies to buy from.

Thanks everyone! This is the build I am considering

i5 3570k
AsRock extreme4 z77
cooler master hyper 212 EVO
Sapphire 7950 vapor x (hopefully with never settle bundle)
asus VE247h
antec three hundred two
western digital caviar black 1tb
wifi card
850w xfx pro core (for upgrading)
8GB corsair vengeance LP ram
Windows 7 professional edition 64bit.

My budget is around the £1000 mark including windows 7 and a monitor. I have seen windows 7 on eaby for £35 so if you just subtract that from the £1000 that would be great!
Any builds on pcpartpicker would be very useful thanks!

^ Agree with wait on Haswell. It's only another week and it looks great so far with 5Ghz on .9v overclocks on early samples. Not to mention being 10% faster clock for clock than Ivy Bridge. It should be the same price as the equivalent Ivy processor. So an i5 4570K should launch at the same price as an i5 3570K is now. Or at least really close.

No.......only the Sandy Bridge-E chips fit in LGA 2011. Haswell will be LGA 1150 and the motherboards have not been released yet. Don't try an LGA 2011 build with your budget. It's the highest end build you can do and is a total waste unless you need a 6 core processor and 32-64GB of RAM. It's more of a workstation build or just the highest end gaming build you can do. There is only a single 4 core processor for LGA 2011 and it's a waste. All the others are 6 core.

So should I wait for Haswell then? I have seen that it is only about 6% better than Ivy Bridge so I really dont know if its worth it. i am also going to be using the pc for photoshop and premier elements so it needs to have a good CPU.
thanks again

Haswell will be about 10% faster clock for clock. Early samples have also been seen overclocked to 5Ghz on .9v. So a 5.5Ghz overclock potential is not out of the question. Wait and see how the i7 4770K does. It should be perfect for you. That is if you can wait another week or two. If not go with the i7 3770K. It's still a great chip.

DAMN! Sorry for wasting your time...I have decided to go ahead and get the 3570k cause I know that at the end of the day there will always be newer technology that will beat mine. Thanks very much for your input!

The 4570K would be the same price as the 3570K and is literally 3 days away from being released. It would be unwise to pickup a 3570K at this point in time.

At the very least not only will Haswell be 10% faster than an Ivy Bridge CPU at the same clocks it seems they have fixed the heat issues Ivy had. So where as a good overclock for an Ivy Bridge CPU was 4.4Ghz early samples of Haswell are shown at 5Ghz on a very low .9v. Meaning maybe just maybe 5.5Ghz will be a good Haswell overclock. That is one hell of a performance increase over Ivy even if Haswell tops out at 5Ghz.

Yeah great, thanks! I'll hold out for 3 more days (I have been planning the build for 3 months so im keen to do it) but if its worth the wait I will wait. Will all my components I picked out still work with the new motherboards yeah?
Also on a slightly different topic i am undecided as to which monitor I should buy. i am stuck between:
The asus ve247h http://www.amazon.co.uk/VE247H-Widescreen-Response-Intelligence-Technology/dp/B004T2LMP2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369949442&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+ve247h
The Viewsonic VX2370Smh http://www.amazon.co.uk/VE247H-Widescreen-Response-Intelligence-Technology/dp/B004T2LMP2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369949442&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+ve247h
The HP 23xi http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hewlett-Packard-Pavilion-23xi-LED-Monitor/dp/B00A7MDBA2/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1369949617&sr=1-1&keywords=hp+23xi

Thanks very much!

You can save some money by dropping down to a 550w or 650w XFX power supply. You would only need 850 watts if you were going to run 3 HD 7950s. For a single card the 550w model is fine.

Same link for 2 of those monitors. That Asus is a great value though. Very good reviews.

Here is the other monitor.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/VIEWSONIC-VX2370SMH-LED-inch-Display-1000/dp/B008RM235I/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1369950625&sr=1-1&keywords=viewsonic+vx2370smh-led
The reason i am getting such a large power supply is that I want enough power to xfire my 7950s and I dont want to have to spend extra money on getting a bigger PSU in the future. Plus the difference price wise between a 650w and a 850w is only £20 so I think its worth the extra £20. Also will all the components I have picked out still work with the new motherboards?

I would wait on RAM. Haswell will have a new integrated memory controller and it reintroduces BCLK overclocking to Intel chips so high speed RAM may finally be something you want. No way to know without reviews though.
