Hello all, after looking around for a bit, and with a budget around $300, I believe I have narrowed down my selection to two cards.
The Radeon HD 7870 and the Radeon HD 7950
Of course, the 7950 is better, but is it ENOUGH better to justify the price difference?
In terms of reliability, performance and cost, which would you choose?
Or do you have a better option?
Thank you.

If you want to play games like Crysis 3, then the HD 7950 has the extra umph that will allow it to be playable at highest settings with 4x AA. The 7870 would be a few frames below 30 fps which will make the game feel choppy. If you don't mind playing with lower settings (medium to high) then the 7870 is for you. Also, the 7950 is a great overclocker, I got a 24% increase after fully overclocking it. In Unigine Heaven Benchmark, I went from a choppy 29 to a fine 38. The 7950 is the best way to go, but also make sure you're other parts are good too. The card needs to be cool. I have a HAF 922 and it never goes above 73 degrees Celcius and it's OCed, but you might not be getting as good a case. Make sure you have room and enough fans and you should be fine. The same goes for the 7870. The 7950 will have you the most happy, even though it will dent your wallet a little more. Plus you get 4 free games, and ones Crysis 3 and the other is Bioshock Infinite!! Their so much fun!
