Could you give me some prices of some parts that would let me play some games like Skyrim, Fallout 3 and NV, and Witcher 2 on high settings with little to no lag. (Once I've built it myself, it'll be easy for me to know how to upgrade it.)

Here's what I was thinking:

1) MSI MicroATX B75MA-P45 motherboard - $64.99
2) Intel Core 15-3470 Quad-Core 3.2 GHz Processor - $184.17
3) XFXAMD Radeon HS 7870 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card - $233.99
4) Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2x4GB) DDR3 RAM - $59.99
5) WD Caviar Black 1TB Hard Drive - $91.26

Total - $634.40 (Before tax. All prices taken from Amazon.)

Need a little more information. What size case? I would recommend a midtower. Antec, CoolerMaster, Thermaltake, Corsair, and Rosewell(Newegg), all offer good quality relatively inexpensive cases.
YOu might want to consider an ATX Motherboard; they offer a few more features (generally). MSI is an excellent brand and has a large selection.
You have chosen a very good graphic card, but can save a little money with little or no loss in performance by going to an Nvidia GTX660.
Lastly, don't short-change your self on power: Pick a name brand PSU (PC Power and Cooling, Corsair, Seasonic, Antec). I would think that 600-650 Watts would be ample and give you some headroom for the hot summer months ahead. PCPC, Corsair, Newegg, and ThermalTake all have programs on their websites to help you find the right PSU, though be warned their suggestion will vary a lot between companies.
Let us know if this helps.

Would an old Dell Dimension 4600 case work?! It'd be hilarious to brag to my friends about my kickass gaming pc, to have them see the case, laugh and call me a liar, only to be proven wrong when I start playing Skyrim on high with very little, or no, lag.

If not, then how about a NZXT Source 210 Elite?

Yes, the NZXT would work well. If you are getting the white version, then take a look at the Rosewell Redbone and Challenger cases. I built my grandson's PC with the Redbone and it looks pretty cool, and my son's with the Challenger. That NZXT in white looks pretty nice.
