I am about to invest in 3 Dell UltraSharp U2312HM monitors however i want to make sure computer and graphics all 3 monitors.

1. Can i hook all 3 up into one Sapphire HD 7970

2. Will my computer suffer a drastic decrease in frames and performance from Sapphire HD 7970 running multiple monitors?

My PC Specs
CPU: i5 3750K
COOLER: Hyper 212+
MOBO: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
RAM: 8GB (4GBx2) Corsair Vengance DDR3 PC1600
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970
PSU: 750W PC Cooling and Sons
HDD: 500GB Seagate 7500 RPM
OS: 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium

You sure can. Although you might need an active displayport adapter, I am not sure.
2. Will my computer suffer a drastic decrease in frames and performance from Sapphire HD 7970 running multiple monitors?
Do you plan to game on all three at once? If so, there will definitely be a big performance hit. Otherwise it should have very little effect.

smeezekitty to answer your question yes i did plan on having all 3 running a game at the the same time. But if that is not gonna work out i guess i will have to rethink my strategy unfortunately i lack the funds for another vid card at this point in time.

if you can afford 3 monitors i think you can afford a better quality 1440p or 1600p monitor.

If you have options please feel free to link them but from what i've seen the majority of 1440p or 1600p monitors i have seen are either low priced but south korean made which i do not feel comfortable buying incase something is defective i cant imagine returning it is easy or name brand such as Dell, LG, etc and twice as much
