Hi guys,

First off I think this website is great and since this is my first post I just wanted to say I'm a fan of the community!

Here's my question, I just installed a new cooler master hyper 212 evo r2 cooler on my fx-4100 cpu. My old one was the stock one that came with the cpu. Im 99% sure that I installed it properly and fastened it securely. However now that its installed I noticed a slight vibration when I slid the tower back Under the desk and it was touching the side of the desk. Since the desk and tower are metal I heard the noise. I have never used an after market cooler before. Is a slight vibration ok? I obviously don't want to vibrate the motherboard and wreck and components. Its not major vibration but its enough that I noticed it. My idle temp is at 35C/95F so that seems normal. Also I don't have the fan running full tilt or anything. Is this normal and safe for my computer?

Thank you.

The motherboard is vibrating? Well, given that fact and you said you are 99% sure you installed the cooler properly, I would say to check the screws that hold the Motherboard in place. Maybe they are too loose.
