Hi,

First of all i'd like to mention that my budget is exteremly low and i'm using PC ONLY for gaming.

Since i'm using E4500 2.2 Ghz Intel processor, it is my first priority for an upgrade. That's why i can't upgrade my gpu.

It's realy a good GPU, and did it's job well so far. Still getting 30-40 FPS on most games which don't use my CPU unlike -e.g. skyrim-.

So AMD FX-4300 or Intel Core i3-3220 will be my options. According to that should i change my GPU "somehow" ? If so, can you recommend a good G.Card arround 80-100 $ ?

Thanks

Thanks for your reply;
How about Phenom II X4 965 ? I heard some of quad-core CPUs are not really "quad" cored ? Is that true ?

Btw, only difference between those Graphic cards and mine is Core Clock i assume ? So does it worth paying 140$ for +250 Core clock or is there any other advatages as well ?

just made a quick digging and found that 7850 is approx = 220$ in my country :/ same as 650 Ti 1gb.. So i caN't do it :) But did some comparisons between my old card and new ones at gpuboss.com and somehow my graphics card seems really good so far despite being old and slower clock speeded. Anyways, 220$ is too much for me to spare for a new GPU atm :8

Hey,

Okay i convinced myself that my GPU will be usefull for a bit longer so let's focus on CPU.

I've 2 brands and models in my mind according to my budget.

first is the 1 as mastrom101 suggested ; fx 6300 QuadCore - having 4 core is the best advantage of this
Another 1 is ; Intel i3 3220 DualCore - this one looked solid to me, i don't know/understand technical information tho

edit : other options

Athlon II X4 640
Phenom II X4 965
i3 3220
fx 6300 QuadCore
-------------------------

I'm waiting for tips :)

Thanks

-- Also i would like to know if Phenom II X4 965 is compatible with Asus P5-KPLAM SE. Couldn't find any info regarding this.

If you can afford it, I think the FX-6350 would be the best choice. Out of all the CPU's, that one is most likely to last the longest. The i3 isn't a horrible choice, but I would stay away from the Athlon/phenom CPUs
