I'm gonna start computer gaming but I just don't know how to decide what mouse I should get (preferably under £50). I might get a Roccat Kone but it's a bit pricy and I don't know if it will suit me.
Thanks

Ideally, try them out. If not, at least try to get your hand (literally) on one. Differences in grip and hand proportions make it pretty vital to physically interact with either the peripheral in question, or something with very similar proportions.
If you're asking about brands, my favorite is Razer, though there are a lot of good peripheral brands.

I'm using a Microsoft Intelli 3.0 (The legend) and a Steelseries Sensei Fnatic Edition.
So here's the thing I've been gaming professionally (cod4 promod) for over 2+ years now. The thing which I have learned the most is 'no gaming gear can make you perform better if you yourself are not talented enough'. So I'd first suggest you to get in the field and see for the one which suits you better.
Even if you put it that way, here is a list I'm providing; anyone of them should server you very good.
1. Razer Deathadder (Not the 2013 one. The 2013 one is better than this one but that's a bit of your budget)
2. Logitech G400 (One of the best-est mouse ever created. It lacks behind because of it's polling rate. The G400 is better than even the G500 even)
3. Logitech G400s (It's the upgraded version of the G400 with better polling rate. I haven't tried it myself so can't really tell how it is but as a G400's successor, it must be good)
4. SteelSeries Diablo III (The rip off of Steelseries Xai. Xai is out of the market now. One of the best one ever.)
5. Zowie AM (Pretty good. I know a lot of CS players out there owning like a master with this.)
6. Zowie EC1 White (My personal favorite. And of course A LEGEND)

That's about it. Happy gaming 8|
