Hi all,

My Pc spec are

Windows 7
AMD althon tm 64 x2 3000+
MB K9AGM MS-7242 ver 1.0
Pny DDr2 800mhz 1gbx4 = 4gb
seagate 750gb
seagate80gb
wd 80gb
250 watts power supply
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K9AGM.html this is my mb i think
please Note: I have had this computer for over 5 or 6 years.
x3 fans running in the Pc. x1 120mm front, x1 120mm side, x1 120mm back
Here is the problem My computer started to freeze up so i went ahead and restart it then soon as it started the screan looked weird it had alot of colors so i click the reset button and it only blink once on the top left it show this. __ then it didn't do anything after so i click the reset button again and it never came back on it wouldn't boot up. I tried to unplug it and plug it back in and still didn't want to boot up. I took the side off and only thing was running was the fans the cpu wasn't even hot nothing was hot. I have let the pc stay off for 1 full day and it still didn't work.

Now Here comes the testing. I took out the HDDs and video card and only left the heatsink cpu and the power supply and 1 gb of ram and it still would'nt boot up. im thinking my mb eather fried or the cpu. I let it stay on for 30 mins and still wouldn't boot up and the cpu was room temp and it should of been little hot. I also tried doing 2gb of ram and still wouldn't boot up. What i dont understand there was not a single beep letting me know what was wrong. it didn't give me no post. I also reset the cmos batterie and there was nothing.

So im thinking is getting a new MB and test my cpu and see if it works or not. if it dont then it's the cpu.

The new MB i was thinking on geting is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157274

any info from you guys would be really greatfull thanks.

I have tried this old psu that was in my old hp desktop that some how failed to even start. i hooked it up to my newest pc and it worked fine did the same stuff fans spin but wont boot up. I guess im gonna have to go to a pc repair shop when i can and have them test it. is there anyway i can test it with out a tester ?
