Hello,
What if I want to run my favorite game o my low end laptop.
Here are the specs : Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.2Ghz w/ 1GB DDR2 RAM w/ 160GB HDD w/ Integrated Intel Graphics.
I just want to run my only favorite game : Rail Works 4 Train Simulator 2013.
I think you all know about 3D Analyzer : Graphics Emulator or Swift Shader Software 3D Rendering.
With one of these software's, can I run my game on my laptop on low to medium settings ? (About 6 to 7 months ago, I played Railworks 3 on my laptop on lowest settings with few lags).

So, What do u think about it ? Can I run that game ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I am currently not in mood of getting a pc now because I am getting an android mini pc for now : http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/mk802-iv-rk3188-quad-core-cortex-a9-android-wifi-mini-pc-4995376/i/

I just want to play only this game on my laptop because other games I can play on android.
Please suggest any method just to prevent lags and though I play that game in low settings only.

You can run this game for sure. This's not that much of a gpu or cpu hungry game of course. Though the fps will be a bit more less. And playing through an emulator is equal to not playing it at all.

So, What solution can you give like..... what should I lower, On how much settings it will be a playable game w/ some good framerates ? How much should be the screen resolution low ? like that.............. ?????? My laptop runs a bit hot than required, so should I also get a good laptop cooler ?

Yah get a mid end laptop cooler if you're planning to use the laptop for some more time. There are a few good ones from NZXT, CoolerMaster and Thermaltake. And get the game, run it, tweak it, keep tweaking the settings till it's fine with you. What suits you the best, none knows that better than you.

Well if your laptop runs the game in 1024x768 without any fps drops, that would be it.
And NO a laptop cooler won't improve the gaming performance to some extent but as you said your laptop runs a bit hotter so attaching a cooler will result as it will perform just the way it should. Not a bit less. If you keep getting it heated up then it may get bumped up, loose it's potential and may start not performing just the way it should. And yes that cooler is fine. You can go for it.

Which one cooler first one or second one ?
One more question : Now I am having some interest in modern games but I know they would not work my laptop but I have heard that games like gta vice city , gta 3, assaians creed, crisis, call of duty have been released for android. Is that true ? Will those games run on this Android Mini PC but resolution @ 1024 by 768 only ??????
Here's the link : http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/mk802-iv-rk3188-quad-core-cortex-a9-android-wifi-mini-pc-4995376/i/

Also tell any way through which I can attach this mini pc to my monitor or tv.
Monitor ha VGA Port and TV has RCA. Both are CRT Monitors.

Both of the coolers would do just fine. Go for the whichever suits your budget.

Yes those games are released for Androids as I've heard. By the specs of the Mini pc you chose I believe yes it would run them finely.
Well your mini pc got HDMI output which will allow connecting it with any display having a HDMI input. I ain't really sure if it will support the HDMI to RCA or HDMI to VGA cables, but it really should. But if it does, there will be a massive lack of quality as I believe.

I believe not. You can only use the USB feature to transfer data into it. And about the VGA, laptops don't have any display INPUT. They have display OUTPUT. So no you won't able to connect it through the VGA either.

Well, I decided that as I am a student, I should get a tablet in that price range only.
Here's one tablet which I had already selected : http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/xtouch-x709-tablet-white-7-inch-android-4-0-8gb-wifi-dual-camera-4979071/i/
Is that a good tablet PC ?????
AND , Can I play all the android games on it specially need for speed and gta and call of duty ???
And ya, because I have no source to connect the mini pc to any of my monitors, it's my only option left.
And though its portable also, so I would be happy if it could something great............
What do you think about it ?

By the specs it got, seems fine enough to me. Yes, you'll be able to play games in it as long as the game supports Android 4.0. You can still update your os to a newer one and make the games run.

Well by saying 'lasting 2-3' years if you mean that if it's gonna be dead let me tell you if you don't do anything you're not supposed to, it should be fine. But by saying 'lasting 2-3 years' if you mean the tech thingy let me tell you we live in a world tech is getting upgraded every now and then; though if you can stay satisfied this upcoming 2-3 years then it would do fine.

So, After a very long wait, I downloaded my game. I had put to download it yesterday in the night with bit torrent.
I had enabled automatic shut down after download completes. And Today in the morning, I saw a big horror with my laptop. I had shut down but didn't knew that it was shut down by windows not bit torrent. I started up the laptop.
Immediately after the POST, I got a message something like this - " You Computer was shut down because it was getting too warm than expected........." My Laptop is too much overheating that what to say...........
Windows loaded very slowly than expected. And inside PC, the laptop was running very slow. Due to overheating, it's performance decreased by a great extent. I though about my game. I quickly opened bit torrent, and I saw, that the game was downloaded till 98.7%. I completed the download in the morning and ran the game.
I drove trains on two routes and it was working perfect on lowest settings, low screen brightness and resolution set to 800 by 600.
In the third route, the game ran OK in the starting and mid, but at a big station like munich as the destination, the game was running very slow. though the fps improved somewhat after that.

But one main problem, OVERHEATING, it is killing by laptop's left performance. The heat sink currently is opened from top and much space is provided for air to go out from the bottom.
How should I solve this problem ??????????? My laptop is still hot (when writing this).

And for about android talk : I have selected another tablet and it looks far better than the previous one in performance : http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/xtouch-x710-tablet-with-7inch-cover-7-inch-8-gb-wifi-black-5079703/i/

Is sim card insertion facility also available in this tablet so that I can do phone calls ?

First of all, sorry for the late reply.

Turn of the laptop. Keep it switched off. Get a cooler and then start using it again. See if the temps are doing fine after getting a cooler. The state you described is one of the prior situations when you actually change the system. Anyways, if the temps fall after getting the laptop cooler you're good to go. If they fall but not by a good margin I mean if they are still higher than they should be, you may have to change the fans of it. See which hardware is running hot the most, you'll have to change it.

The tab you chose seems better than the previous one. Yes it has the 'sim' facility but will only support 3G. In that case if you're not provided with 3G network from the provider, it'll not work.

The part under the laptop is the hottest part specially were the hard drive and ram are. HDD is so much hot that it can hurt anyone's finger. RAM is also very hot. The left part of the keyboard and touchpad are also very hot.
FANS are always running at full speeds.

Well I believe it's the HDD's fault. The HDD is making your touchpad hot. I had a laptop too and it had similar heat issue and the reason behind that was also HDD. I believe changing the HDD and buying a cooler would be the solution.

can you ask ur friends and other members on tomshardware and confirm that this is the problem ? otherwise this will be a waste of money.

Or should I go out to an engineer for this problem's fix ?
