Hello guys. I bought corsair ddr3 4gb today , and i tried to plug it in my mobo ( ga-g41m-combo gigabyte) The mobo supports ddr3 but dont know what happens in my case. I plugged it in, pressed POWER ON and the cpu started working and then stopped, then again started working and then again stopped. If i let it ON it will continue like that.

Used to have 1 ddr2 2gb and they worked, and they still work even when i tried to get back on em. But pc doesnt open when i put ddr3. What Should i do.

I removed the ddr2 and then put in ddr3...

in the support list of Gigabyte , i find the 2 Gb version , but not the 4 gb...

Pls help.....

that mother board supports 2X4GB BUT cant run both DDR2 and DDR3 at the SAME time its either DDR2 or DDR3 , try removing all rams , remove the mobo battery for a few secs , then put back in the DDR3 rams and see what happens
