So I have the option to buy an R3 or a R4 for about 40 bucks more. The R3 is about 75 dollar and the R4 117 dollar(converted to dollar from Swedish currency). Is it worth it? What will I miss out with a R3 compared to an R4? It is worth noting that I do not have USB3 on my current setup as I run an older motherboard with the LGA1366 socket. I am going to upgrade of course but that will be the earliest the generation after hashwell.
