I don't want to play Multiplayer, only single player. So how much FPS is better for Gaming @1080p. And hey I don't want best FPS with GTX 690 or Titan, I can't afford these Monsters.

Update: http://media.bestofmicro.com/U/4/352300/original/BF3-HIGH.png
GTX 660 vs GTX 66o TI
Is 5 FPS difference creates a major difference in gaming? Note that in my country there is almost $40 difference between these two cards? Money Matters in my case, so which should I buy?

30-40 fps should be good enough

I think around 40 is a decent level of fps. I think 60 is too smooth, and 30 is alright - depending on the game. Anything lower than 30 needs to be bumped up by reducing some of the graphical settings.

I have a GTX 670 and with ultra settings on most recent games I would get Frames in the 40's-50's. (Very demanding games = 30's) The beauty about PC gaming is you can adjust the settings to your preference. Some people need FPS above 60, others are happy around 30. you could buy a card in the $120-$150 range with medium settings and probably get FPS in the 40-50 range. (With no CPU Bottleneck.)

Personally, if my frames get too high and i see tearing, V-Sync turns on. I hate screen tearing and would rather restrict the FPS to my Monitors rate. Maybe someone else might have more info for you.

5 fps doesn't make much of a difference....if money is an issue go for 660...or wait for the new 760

The HD 7850, although not one that you mentioned, would be ideal for you. Additionally, it's cheaper and better for overclocking than it's Nvidia GTX counterparts that you're considering - but it's about as good as a GTX 650 Ti.
You could even get away with a HD 7750 or 7770, if your budget is really tight.

I only have a 7750, and I play most games on high settings @ 1080p resolution. Some examples below:-
Battlefield 3 - Ultra (No AA) @ 1080p = 30+fps.
Metro Last Light - High (no SSAA) @ 1080p = ~30fps.
Bioshock Infinite - Ultra (Without "Alternate" postfx) @ 1080p = 30+fps.
Hitman Absolution - High preset (No AA) @ 1080p = ~30fps.
GRID 2 - High preset (4xMSAA) @ 1080p = 40+fps.

First of all, for all family members here is good news. GTX 770 is out now. Check out nvidia FB page or engadget.

@jinayhvora ya i m waiting for 760. But I don't think dat it will be available in India as soon as it rels. :(
And GTX 660 ti offer just 5 FPS diffrnc as shown in pic dat was official uploaded by Tom's H/W.
And I can afford 660ti but it I don't want to waste my dad's money for just 5 FPS. What about future games? GTX 660 ti may offer more FPS?
And also I hope gtx 760 will be rels in India asap. I m ready to throw money on dat graphics card. As it will offer more cores and more boost.

Sorry. No. 7850 is below 660. I will buy either 660 or 660 ti. Or maybe 760.

from rumors it seems a 760 will give u the performance of a 670 at the price of a 660 Ti....so u might as well wait for it...anyways nowadays products release in India just after their global launch

In order of best to worst (for gaming):
GTX 660 ti
7870
GTX 660
7850

Although the GTX 660 ti is better than the HD 7870 for gaming, it is also almost 50% more expensive, which is ridiculous.
The GTX 660 and the 7850 are more closely matched, but the 7850 is still cheaper.
The best card in terms of performance/price ratio is without a doubt the HD 7870, because it is usually marginally cheaper than the GTX 660, yet contends with the GTX 660 Ti.

Battlefield 3 isn't the only game that should be examined, unless that's the only game you're planning to play - which I suspect not, since you said you won't be playing multiplayer games, and Battlefield 3 is primarily played for it's multiplayer component. Nvidia cards perform notoriously well compared to AMD ones on Battlefield 3.

Some benchmarks from Bioshock Infinite, featuring the 7870, 7850 and GTX 660.
As you can see, the 7870 wins in every single benchmark.

It's games like these that you should be studying benchmarks of. Not multiplayer games that you won't be playing.

In the end, it's up to you though. The GTX 660 is a great card, but I often find myself swaying towards AMD for their reasonable pricing. And being able to have more power for cheaper is something that only a fool would pass up (or a Nvidia fanboy, but they're one and the same).

What cpu do you have. Those FPS with a gtx 670 are low. I have the gtx 670 FTW and i get an avg of 70 to 80 on BF3 with an fx 8350. I play on ultra 1080 p, with ultra settings.

Officially, AMD does not support PhysX. You can turn it on, but it will sometimes bring fps down really badly on an AMD card. It depends on the game and the card.

For example, my 7750 cannot handle PhysX on Metro Last Light. When enabled, my framerate will drop to about 5fps. I run 30fps with PhysX disabled.

Here nvidia wins. As Physx is great feature as u can c in d video. Now I will definetley go wid Nvidia.
If i turn on physx on GTX 660 (non ti) how much my FPS can goes down? eg: on Boarderlands 2 game or BF 3
