I am trying to find the best graphics card for around $300 or less. I will be using the video card for playing games like Arma 2, Battlefield 3 and and Skyrim on the maximum settings and I can't tell what card will be the best. I would like this card to last me until this time next year or at least until the end of this year. I would also like the card to be able to smoothly run new games coming out later this year like Battlefield 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5 on high settings. I realize there is some sort of rivalry between people who use Nvidia cards and people who use AMD cards. I have no preference and I am hoping for an unbiased opinion. I am just looking for the best product for the best price. Right now I am trying to decide between a GTX 660 ti, a Radeon 7950, and a Radeon 7870. Which one is better or are they about the same? Which one will last longer and play new games coming out later this year better? Are there any other video cards for around $300 that are better than those? Also, with Nvidia releasing their new 700 series cards like the 780, do you think the 600 series cards will drop in price? If so, when can we expect to see this happen? Also, will the Radeon 7000 series cards drop in price soon?

P.S. I will be using an i5-3570k CPU and 8GB of RAM with this.

well there are better graphics cards coming out soon maybe the gtx 760/760ti will be out soon so you could wait for that, of this choice i would suggest the Radeon HD 7950 as i think it is the best of the choice given. i would reccomend the 620 watt power supply as long as it is from a reputable brand, i.e. corsair, xfx, seasonic etc

Forget to mention. It will be a 500W. Possible a 620W.
