hdmi connector for componet cable to sd tv

as my title is their any connector or tuner that can connect my hd set top box to my sd 21 inch wega tv using hdmi question is tv has no hdmi port. componet cables will come from tv and a hdmi wire will come from hdmi port of hd box in the middle a connecter or something is their anything avaliable it may be stupid question but can it just want answers

you are not going to gain anything using a converter you might actually lose some quality than if you just went straight component. Simply you are converting a digital signal to analog. If your box is sending encrypted signal (HDCP) a converter may not work.
