My computer freezes about once a way, and usually when I'm watching YouTube videos.

Here's what happens:
1. Watching YouTube, suddenly whole screen freeze (like the explorer.exe froze), cannot press anything with mouse, the video is still playing in Chrome.

2. However, I can still alt tab to switch between tabs and other applications working.

3. If I ctrl+alt+delete, screen blacks out, and mouse becomes the loading icon, and I cannot do anything to get my screen back.

4. I have to press the power button, when I do that the monitor stops receiving signals from the computer instantly. But even after that, I can still hear the YouTube video playing.

5. Then I have no other options other than force shutdown.

It seems like after step 5, all my applications is still working normally in the background but I cannot do anything but force shutdown.

Can someone please help? This problem is starting to get annoying.

Thanks.

A few quick questions
1. Whats are your full system specs.
2. Do you have anti virus installed? if so what and when did you last do a scan
3. How much space do you have free on your C drive
4.How olds this computer.

Hi,

1-I would test it out with another browser.
2-Is flash player up to date ?
3-scan for virus with malwarebytes and roguekiller

I sometime have flash player random crash since the last few updates, I think that's the problem so I would not worry.

I don't think its the flash player's problem because it didn't crash, the video was still playing even when my screen blacked out.
