In order to explain what is going on with my computer, I need to explain a lot of what I have done as far as troubleshooting already. First, however, I will explain the problem that occurs. Randomly, and literally randomly, my computer will start to stutter, mouse stops moving fluidly, and the sound will go "robot like." I disconnect from the internet and usually this happens for 2-3 minutes or until I restart my computer, however the error sometimes only lasts seconds (there is no consistancy to the problem). Then everything is fine again. When I said this happens randomly I mean that sometimes I will be on skype or watching youtube and it happens, other times it will happen while playing League of Legends. I monitor my CPU usage and temps during this time and my CPU usage starts going crazy over all 4 cores during the error.

This had happened periodically since I first built my computer, maybe 2 months ago, and after talking to a lot of people I decided it was probably my motherboard. However, before this, I decided to re-install Windows 7 as some people mentioned it could be a virus/software issue(mind you I ran multiple virus scans/malwarebytes/ccleaner before doing this). Unfortunately, this did not fix my problem.

I had bought all my computer parts from a nearby Microcenter and since they were under warranty I decided to go ahead and return my CPU, GPU, RAM, and MOBO, just to be safe. I re-installed everything and the error stopped for 2 weeks. But then, 2 days ago, IT HAPPENED AGAIN! I was so angry because I can't believe it still is happening. My only thought is that it is my PSU, but I thought this was very unlikely due to the nature of the error. Can anyone please, please give me some help if you have any idea what could be wrong. Do you think it could possibly be my PSU?

Sorry for so much text but I wanted to make sure I covered everything that has happened so far. I will be so appreciative for any possible help. Here is a link to my build for reference. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Shiftymnm/saved/1sP1

My first thought was a faulty PSU (LOL) after reading the first 3 lines as it sounds like it hasn't got enough power to power everything .
What Wattage is your PSU and what is it manufacturer

That is funny. I have the Corsair Enthusiast Series™ Modular TX650M — 80 PLUS® Brone. Something else that is weird to note is that I originally had a 650W EVGA power supply and for some reason it didn't work with my system at all. I tried 2 different EVGA PSU's while at Microcenter and my computer wouldn't boot. The tech guys there said they have never seen something so weird like that which is why I ended up going with the Corsair model. But would a faulty PSU run perfectly fine like that and then randomly cause an error? Also to note, the PSU has a function I never really heard of before where the fan on the PSU supposedly only turns on when the PSU gets to a ceratin temp so I thought maybe that additional fan change would cause a voltage jump or something like that. I don't know really, I am more so talking out of my ass trying to think of what could be wrong here.

It worries me that another highly regarded PSU couldn't work within your build whats your full specs. The only way a PSU would be incompatible is a faulty MB or it provide to little power. If the available power is close to the Max load of the PSU The fan on ur psu coming on as well as the increased speed on the CPU fan and GPU fan could be responsible for this whole problem, in addition to this the problem would only worsen over time due to part degradation.

Here is the link to my build on pcpartpicker from the original post. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Shiftymnm/saved/1sP1

I thought the MOBO was bad too but I have replaced it, along with plenty of other parts and because the computer performs perfectly except for when the error occurs I am lead to believe it is not the culprite but who knows. After everything I have tried I don't know what to try next. Also, I wanted to go with a 650W PSU because I thought that would almost be overkill more my build and wanted to be safe.

It should easily have enough juice but its still bugging me that 2 PSUs wouldn't work within your build when they easily provided enough voltage if i were you I would suggest having the PSU replaced. At the moment Im wondering if it has enough Amps but then again consair PSus have excellent amp ratios. Also I cant explain why it only would work for 2 weeks if it was 2 months i could put it down to part degradation making it use more power but that wouldnt be noticable in that time period. Are all would MB drivers up to date?

Yea the original PSU thing was weird for sure. My MB drivers are up to date yes. And the 2 week thing doesn't really have anything to do with it other than showing how random the error is. I can play games all night and nothing will happen but then last night, for example, the error happened 3 times (granted each time only lasted like 1 second). The sound when crazy and I lagged a ton but then everything was fine. This was actuallythe first time the error happened like that. Every other time the error happens it persists for 2-3 minutes before stopping. Also to note, I always check my event viewer for errors and nothing ever shows up in there.

I had a computer Stutter and lag on me for up to 2 minutes at a time. WTF I changed everything. I thought it was the CPU GPU PCU and mobo then memory and hard drive Nothing was it I built a new computer and wtf it was still doing it.I looked at all drivers and everything still nothing. then Win 7 auto installed my drivers for my WiFI card. it was the last thing.. My computer was running supper HOT from 7c to 100c in 20 seconds and CPU was always hitting 100% usage.( I downloaded the Drivers for my WIFI card and voila it worked no more stutter or lag. and now I have a New computer

(Old Comp) E8400 cpu GS 210 GPU 4gb ddr2 500gb hard drive Wifi card

(New Comp) FX-6350 cpu GTX 560 gpu 8gb ddr3 300gb hard drive (Same wifi card New Drivers installed)

So lesson learned today is Make sure you Download the proper Drivers.
