So i currently have an FX 8150 with liquid cooling and for some odd reason my temps are all over the place. I use core temp and my temps while not under load can vary from anywhere to 9C all the way to 44C it never stays at just a solid temp and when im playing any game it always gets up to about 70C where i am forced to stop. One time it shut off on me because it was too hot.
Im currently OC'd to 4.0GHz, and from what i can see there is no dust or anything caked in the cooler.
I dont know what is causing the problem, possibly need new thermal paste? This is the first time i have had a problem with it in a year. I got the liquid cooler from a buddy at ibuypower and from what he told me i dont need to change it, it does everything it self.
