I was originally going to go with an i5 3570k bundle at micro center. But since I dont live near one, and the family friend that was going to go get it, bailed on me...I am now forced to go with a other option.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/11k71 the only thing not on their is the GPU which i will be getting from here.

I am open for suggestions, CPU, mobo and the GPU mainly. But how does this build look? is it the best bang for my buck for a 850 dollar pc?

Thanks

Right now you might want to wait for the new Intel Haswell series to come out, and see what sort of price/performance they have.

Other than that, looks like a solid build. You might want to look out for a 7870 XT (or LE). They are great cards too. Or you could wait for the newer 700 series of cards, like the 760. They might be worth waiting for. Or if you can wait even longer, you could wait for the 8000 series. But It's up to you.

I wish i could go with the XT radeon, but Im way over budget as it is... As for the new intel coming out, I heard its going to be expensive, so im fine with going with the AMD if need be.

If you had the range of 180 - 215 dollars to spend on a GPU, what would you get for a AMD build? Im just so conflicted lol

The 7870 is a great option for that price range. Go with Asus, Gigabyte or Sapphire.
As for the CPU, Haswell didn't turn out so well. You'd better go with AMD's FX 8350.
