Hello, I am new here, and need some help and assistance.

I would like to know which the best CPU and could you please Rank them. (Yes i know these CPU's are all old, and pretty rubbish compared to i7 etc, but im on budget :(  )

I have also searched around and found a program called CPU Z which i copied and pasted the information, i also included a image.

EDIT: DO you need the Mother board infomation from the CPU Z?

Thank You very much.

1) Intel Pentium T1600 @ 1.66 ghz << Running Windows 7 2GB RAM

I checked on cpubenchmark and they're pretty much all similar in term of performance with no.2 being slightly better than the others, but this seems like a CPU for laptops because it's titled "mobile".

What type of computer do you want to buy? Which software are you going to use?

Wow, First time here and Thank You very much for your fast replies! :)
Edit: Updated thew RAM and OS they are running on.

I forgot to mention,
3 ) AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+

Is it a good CPU, can it RUN Windows 7?

I have these 3 machines, and wanted to know how powerful is the 3rd compared to the others, as i cant not buy a new machine.

The 3 ) AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ has only 1GB Ram and running XP, I wanted to ask, if i put another 1GB RAM so i get a toal of 2GB RAM, : ( The 1 T1600 has 2GB RAM and the 2nd has 3GB) only this one has 1GB, im thinking if i can upgrade the RAM it can load windows 7 smother? Since i have limited funds to buy a new computer, Will it be smoother then in 1 T1600

Of course it can handle Windows 7. A Pentium 3 800Mhz could handle Windows 7 (32-bit) Yours can handle both 32 and 64-bit.

hell I have AMD x2 6400in 2005 its not good enough to play planetside 2 on more then 3 fps. I also had a 4800+ back in early 2003? its was an ok CPU for its time but I don't think there all that useable for today standards.

For what you're doing...number 3 would work fine. I would install win7 64 bit and up the RAM to 4 GB (if you can).
