with the launch of the gtx 770 at the surprising price point of $400,

NVIDIA will definitely want to start getting rid of their gtx 680s and 670s, will they not?

does this mean we can expect substantial price drops or insane sales?

p.s. i am currently in the market for a 670 this is why i am asking

When the 670 came out, the 570 dropped about $30 (EVGA anyway) I wouldnt call that an insane drop, but its still a drop.

Yea, when I bought my 570 SC I think it was $330 (shortly after release) and it eventually dropped to $250 (IRRC) right before EOL

June for the GTX 760 Ti. Expect it to be faster than a GTX 670 for about $300, give or take.
