CPU needs to be upgraded to a quad core for sure!

Do you need to upgrade due to a lack of performance in games or other applications?

mattius92 is correct, a cpu upgrade to a quad core would be nice. But, what is your budget?

I would recommend upgrading cpu to this:
AMD Athlon X4 750K Trinity 3.4GHz Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop Processor - Black Edition - $85
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Along with new heatsink:
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 "Heatpipe Direct Contact" Long Life Sleeve 120mm CPU Cooler Compatible with Intel 1366/1155/775 and AMD FM1/FM2/AM3+ - $25
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And, also get an SSD:
Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $185
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-148-...

Reasons:
1. You have an HD7770 so you don't need another APU. The cpu above doesn't have built in graphics but it is a quadcore and unlocked so you can overclock
2. SSDs are awesome!
3. You could upgrade to 8GB, but really you will notice a bigger difference with the above parts than you would with 4GB more RAM (unless you are video editing or doing CAD)

If you want to overclock the cpu you should get a different one than the one that comes with the cpu. If you don't plan on overclocking, then the heatsink that comes with it should be fine. You may even be able to do a little overclock with the standard heatsink, but usually not recommended.

I am not an overclocking expert, but if your cpu temps are fine then you don't need a water cooling system.
You will need to do some additional tweaking so that your overclock is stable. I would do a search on this forum (and the Internet) to see what others have doen to overclock the same cpu and mobo.
