Physx with an AMD card

What's the best way to get physx while having an AMD card? Is the only course of action to run a lower tier nvidia card primarily to render physx?

Nvidia disables PhysX processing on their GPUs if an AMD GPU is detected in the system. So you're better off leaving it to the CPU.

what he said. once upon a time you could run a nvidia physx card on a system with a primary ati/amd gpu. nvidia has since squished that.
