How does this $1300 Build look?

Please respond and tell me how this build looks, I plan on mostly playing BF3 and BF4 whenever it comes out ( most likely on ultra, assuming the 7970 can handle it)
I also know the 3770k is overkill for gaming, but I just want it because I may start making videos and editing.
Note: I plan on upgrading to 16gb ram in the future along with a more ssds to store games.

I wouldn't recommend buying right now. The Haswell processors are coming out in less than a week, and are supposed to provide a 10%+ performance boot.

Also, if you're not certain that you're going to be making videos, I wouldn't recommend the i7. That's a lot to spend on a "may".
On the counter, if you're sure that you're going to make videos, you need a big HDD, possibly more than one. I tend to consider 2TB the minimum for recording/editing builds.

Lastly, your current PSU is overkill. You could save quite a bit and lose nothing by using the XFX Core Edition 550w.

The 770 has the same performance as a 680/ 7970, and I prefer AMD Cards. It's not really a big deal, also I get a lot more games with the AMD card.

Yeah, I will most likely hold off on the i7 and wait for haswell and see how pricing is then. As for the power supply, I know 850w is a lot more than I need, but I might be crossfiring in the future if amd fixes their frame issue.

* CPU is good for the $ and does well at a lot of situations.
* CPU HSF is one of the better performers for the $.
* Mobo has just about everything you would need.
* RAM is fast at stock voltage of 1.5v and has LOW PROFILE heat spreaders, so you have room for just about any aftermarket CPU HSF.
* SSD is of good size and performs well. You will have room for OS/Several Games/Apps.
* GPU is good and doesn't break the bank.

My issue with the 8350 is that its mobos don't have PCIE 3.0 slots, am I correct? If not, please show me one that does as I would be happy to buy an 8350.

According to the benchmarks I've seen, it lies pretty even with the 7970. A few FPS over here, a few FPS under there. Maybe a 1% overall advantage, performance-wise.

SLI is definitely more functional than CrossFire, at the moment, but AMD is already working on a fix (see the 7990 review). That said, we can't be sure if said fix will work properly, so I will grant you that one.

The IceQ isn't the most optimal 7970 for cooling. That'd be the Windforce x3 or the Vapor-X, to my memory.

Said features being...? You mean CUDA and PhysX?

You can't say "games are worthless". For someone planning to buy those separately, that's a huge discount. I didn't want them myself, but you can't say that nobody will.
