Hello.

I'm trying to put together parts for a gaming pc but I can't seem to decide on what motherboard I want to use. The pc will be used mostly for gaming.

Right now I have an ASRock extreme 4 picked for my motherboard on my build List

But I'm not sure if I want to use it.

The alternatives I'm thinking about are This one A gigabyte motherboard.

Or this one an ASUS motherboard.

Which of the three is the best overall? They all have about the same rating on newegg.

Or is there another motherboard that's better below or at the $100-$120 mark?

Forgot to add.

I may or may not swap the 7970 for a 770. If that information matters.

I'm pretty new to this stuff so I thought I should mention it in case that matters

When it comes to motherboards, I personally avoid ASrock and MSI. This is because of a bad experience. ASrock will do if you are building the cheapest of the cheap or if you're on a VERY VERY tight budget. I assume you are good with cash. For gaming, nothing beats this motherboard:

if that's to pricey then these two mobos will be just fine. Between the two I guess it comes down to color preference because they're basically the same

Nothing beats these two at this price point

However, the Formula board is unbeatable

Good Luck
