PSU corsair cx430w

Config:
i5 3570(non k)
asus p8b75mlx
4gb corsair vengeance 1600Mhz
Asus HD7790 1 GB or HD7850 1GB
1tb WD 7200rpm HDD
Antec X1 cabnet
Dell 20" LED moniter(1600x900)

1. i will not overclock and might add another 4gb ram in future, will the psu be sufficient for next 3 years.

2. i want to run bf3 in ULTRA will the monitor able to display it in ULTRA, if not which is the best display setting for this monitor?

3. about how much FPS will this setting give?

4. Antec X1 as one fan in it and 2 other fan shot, so should i add more fan??

Thanx in advance

Corsair CX 430 is a very capable and good quality PSU, it should have no problem running your system. With the non-K CPU and no overclock in mind, total power consumption should not go above 300W, nothing that CX430 can't handle.

1. 1 stick of DDR3 has very low power consumption, the PSU will be enough if that's your only planned upgrade for the next 3 years.
2. is not the monitor that should be able to display in ULTRA, but the video card. 7790 is a good budget card, but i don't think it will be able to run BF3 in ULTRA. I suggest to get the 7850, it's much better.
3. Check this review (please note that the XFX model is a 7790 on steroids, so your card may perform worse): http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/XFX/HD_7790_Black_Edition_OC/9.html
4. with only 1 fan, the airflow in the case is not that good, however depending on your room temperatures, the current configuration can work with only 1 fan. I highly recommend to buy at least one additional fan and mount them like this: one for exhaust, near the CPU (rear of the case); 1 for intake in the front (I think that's the current fan available)

1. The PSU would do just fine for the next 3 years.
2. If you don't play to overclock then get a gtx650ti boost ( 2gb version ). It should be able to help you play BF3 on ultra on your monitor.
3. Min FPS should be above 35. Could be higher depends on the map.
4. Yes, you should add more fan. Gaming heats up your components really quick.

1- Yes your system need at lest 410 Watt, but not for a long time becuse you use the PSU at maximum performance and it will slow down after time.

2- It's depend on you monitor, ULTRA use 1920x1080 and that will force the GPU to crunch the pixels to 1600x900 for the monitor and that give a hard time for the GPU, so batter to use ULTRA but change the resolution to 1600x900.

3- No one can tell how much FPS you will get anles some one benchmark it with same of you component, put it will be good.

4- Need 2 fan atlest to make the correct airflow running on your components like this

airflow-2.jpg

you need like 2 to 5 fans with high airflow (CFM) and low noise (dBA)

Hope that I helped :)

Actually the GPU in mind is HD7790, but now i am confused whether to go for HD7850 or 650 Ti (zotac, boost 2gb non amp http://www.flipkart.com/zotac-nvidia-geforce-gtx-650-ti-boost-2-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdkj3ncx6ehmnt?pid=GRCDKJFTFUEDPBTR&ref=84f7b3c4-1047-415b-ae33-a5810110d413&srno=t_1&otracker=from-search&query=650%20ti)

Actually in india
HD7790 and 650 ti are of same price(10000inr or 176usd);
HD7850 and 650 ti boost are also of similar price range(12300inr or 212usd)

So i am really confused on these four choices, does the additional 36usd i spend on HD7850 worth when we compare the FPS of 7790 vs 7850 and 650 ti boost in bf3 ULTRA.

Also will 430w be enough for 650ti boost 2gb???

For benchmarks NVIDIA vs AMD any NVIDIA GTX 670 and below have same range prise AMD and batter performance GTX 660 Ti Boost = AMD Radeon HD 7750 same range price but AMD 10% more performance but dude in flipkart website shows the double price for AMD... Just stay with GTX 660 Ti for 12100 Rs

Your component with 660 ti need 450 Watt minimum to run it in safe way.

I think you're mistaking the 660 ti with the 650 ti, although it's more than double the price (and performance). 660ti is great, but it's $250.

Also, the 450W min. req. is only a rough estimation and it's not that relevant. Actually the GPU will draw its power from the +12V rail(s), which means the ability of the PSU to provide enough Amps on this rail is much more important than the rated power. Since 7850 (for example) has a power consumption of 125W, it will require ~10A on this rail. The CPU is rated at 77W, which will draw ~6A. But the Corsair CX430 can provide ~30A on the +12V rail. Is it enough? I say it's more than enough, the rest of the components will consume much less than the CPU/GPU, and most of them on the +5V rail.

The GPU performance chart is like this: amd 7770 < nvidia 650 ti < amd 7790 < amd 7850 / nvidia 650 ti boost
Comparing 7850 with the 650 ti boost depends on the game/application, but between the two, i would recommend 650 ti boost.

LE: another way to roughly estimate the GPU power consumption is this: the PCIx slot of the motherboard can provide up to 75W. You add to that 75W for each supplementary 6-pin power connector. 7850, 7790, 650 ti, 650 ti boost require only one 6-pin PCI power connector, so that means 75W (from mobo) + 75W (1 x 6-pin) = 150W maximum theoretical power draw. Your CPU is 77W, but with OC can go up a few tens of Watts, other components are much less power hungry, but you can assume 50-100W to be on the safe side. You can make a more close to reality calculation using this tool: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
