I wanted to buy a motherboard for my new pc build.
I narrowed down the choice to H77 and B75

Should I get a ATX mobo or MATX? I don't plan on running dual graphics card BTW.

Also, which manufacturer is the best for this board?
MSI? Gigabyte? Asus? Or are there other good manufacturers that I missed out?

Thank you!!

If you don't need to RAID your drives and don't have the desire to own 2 high-end SSD at some points with your system, then B75 motherboards should be good enough. As for model, there are many, due to not knowing where do you live I'll just list some overall good boards: Asrock B75 Pro3-m, due to rich media connections plus the ability to reuse LGA775 cpu coolers. Gigabyte B75M-D3H for great build quality, Ultra Durable, dual BIOS,.. . MSI B75A-G43 gaming ( this one is priced a bit high ) if you need stable internet connection for playing online games.

Do you want to do any overclocking? Go for a board with the H77 chipset.

As for ATX or m-ATX, it depends on your case. ATX and m-ATX can both be placed in an ATX case.

MSI, Gigabyte and Asus are all three good brands. You could also consider Asrock, though I personally have no experience with Asrock boards.

Well I dont plan on overclocking. So do I get the B75?

What's the advantage in overclocking of H77 over B75? Or you meant Z77?

They're known to have low-quaility components on their entry boards, especially ones with MX, SI, LE,... in its name.

I guess I'll go with MSI or Gigabyte.
BTW what's GA-P75-D3 from Gigabyte? Does it differ from B75?

Intel didn't make any P75 chipset. The P75 board from gigabyte is a B75-D3V will pci slots set changed and graphic output connectors removed.
