So,
I'm building my first budget gaming pc (coming across from console) and just wanted to know if I would run into issues with these components. I already have a case its a thermaltake commander ms-II and a GPU, Galaxy GTX 460 1GB(gift from a mate). the components im purchasing are as follows. for the CPU a AMD FX 6300, mobo is a asrock 970 extreme 4, PSU an ANTEC hcg 620w modular, for ram im getting 2x4gb of corsair vengeance cas 9 and 1600mhz at 1.5v,for cpu cooler im goin with cooler master hyper-212 EVO and last but not least im just getting 1TB WD cav blue for storage. Ill be upgrading the gpu in roughly 6 months as well as chuckin in an SSD.
This pc will mainly be used for gaming and to learn to art of overclocking :)  . Any advice or suggestions would be awesome as this is my first attempt at building a PC.

Cheers in advance

Better change the board to Gigabyte 970a-ud3 for better overclocking support. Other than that, good setup :)

Looks good. Corsair isn't always the cheapest though, and you don't really need to go for 1.5V on an AMD build.

I see. Asrock 970 extreme4 is the best budget AM3+ mobo in Australia then.

What's your budget?
I just built an AMD based rig for about 1,200-1,300.

AMD 8350 FX BLK EDTN
MSI 990XA-GD55
16 gb patriot viper 3 1866
Gigabyte HD 7970 3gb oc
Oc z series 1000w
64 gb SSD
3 tb hdd
Thermaltake ms-1 commander
Cm v6 gt

Works great and is a champ for what I need it to do ;D

Just thought I'd throw it out for someone who is thinking of a custom amd

64gb SSD is quite small and you'll never need a 1KW PSU with this etup.
