Hi, I use this laptop every day, but for some reason the gpu has been overheating to the point where the laptop automatically shuts off. This has happened a few times already. GPU-Z says the gpu temperature stays at a constant 87C, which is crazy considering there's no load on it at all when it does. No dust problems; the heatsink is clean etc. At the moment, the farthest I can get on the laptop is just right past the windows loading screen, then it proceeds to automatically turn off again. Everything else works fine; I've replaced the thermal compound and the fan is working. Any help? I hope I don't have to end up buying something again. Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, solved! I took the laptop to the basement where it was much cooler, got it to turn on then reinstalled the AMD drivers. Immediately the temp spikes right back down ~20C before and after installation, so I guess it was the software doing something strange.
