Struggling to wire up all of the connections

Hello guys.

Well I've just brought a new Motherboard, Power Supply and CPU.

Mobo; ASrock z77 extreme 4-m
pSU: Corsair Builder CX600
cPu: i5-3570k

Now, I've put it all in I just don't have a clue where all the connectors go.. I don't know how to upload pictures to here either so I don't know what to do lol

The big 24-pin connector goes into your MB, as does the smaller 4+4Pin connector (make sure it's not a 6+2pin PCIe connector), near the CPU.

Plug in any needed PCIe cables to your GPU, if you aren't using integrated graphics.

SATA (thin, 15-pin) to your HDD/ODD.

Thank you for the quick response! I am struggling with the 'speaker' connector.. It seems to have a 1 pin end which is circular :s, also from the front panel I seem to have a green and white wire with a plastic white end on and I don't know where that goes.

The speaker is an error code buzzer - I wouldn't bother unless you have trouble. Does the green/white cable have anything printed on it?

No mate nothing, I've just tried turning the computer on after everything correctly connected (I think) but nothing is happening lol

You have wires connected for all the front panel LEDs/buttons? If not, which one(s) aren't connected.

Yeah I have the hdd led, reset sw, power sw, HD audio and USB plugged in, the only one is the green and white cable which has the big plastic end on it with only 2 pins :s

Oh - might be a fan lead. Does it plug into one of the peripheral cables form your PSU?

Nope I already tried it mate, also would you know why my PC wont turn on even though everything is plugged in? :/ it's not doing anything at all when I press the power button

Ok just read through that and it seems it might be the standoffs behind the motherboard.. I've disconnected everything and going to put the motherboard back in, however it seems the motherboard doesn't align with 1 or 2 of the standoffs so what should I do :s it's a micro atx case with a micro atx motherboard so surely it should?

Ok so I've aligned them correctly, there is 2 holes for standoffs which the case doesn't have.. Does it matter if I don't have the 2 standoffs and just screw the rest in as its all aligned now?
