Hello,

I have Intel SSD 520 Series 240Gb installed on windows7.
Windows reports drive physical sector size is 512:

....>fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo c:
Bytes Per Sector : 512
Bytes Per Physical Sector : 512

But driver reports it has physical sector size 4000 (I've used Intel SSD ToolBox that uses "IDENTIFY DEVICE" query).

I've updated my Intel SATA AHCI controller driver. But situation did not change.

This is some kind of windows fsutil bug?

4K is default cluster size for NTFS and I am speaking about physical sector size (aka Advanced format)

I just read about IDENTIFY DEVICE and found I understand everything wrong. Word # 160 (2 bytes) contains information about physical size. It has value 4000 HEX, so only 14 bit is 1. Bits 3:0 are number of LBA (512 blocks) per physical cluster. I have 0 there so my physical size is 512.
