Want NVIDA GPU, Have Gigabyte AM3 / AMD Motherboard will it be compatible?

Purely because my AMD 7970 matrix hd was faulty... and It costed a lot of money.

So I'm getting a new GPU pretty much with the money I got back from faulty gpu.

My RAM is 16GB 1833mhz DDR3, and CPU is amd quad core 4100 & power supply is 800 Watts.

EDIT: also apparently that gpu comes with no cables or anything, what do I need to order extra?

Yes; the GPU and motherboard are compatible.
