Stock CPU fan

Hi, I recently purchased a i5 3570k processor, and I'm wondering if the stock fan will be sufficient, or if I should order the D-14 noctua as well. I won't be overclocking the CPU with the default heatsink, it will just be running standard.

Stock cooler has one job to do, and it does that well : provide enough thermal at stock clock. You should get an aftermarket one if you want to OC.

if you are not going to overclock, the stock one will be fine.

Even if you don't OC - the better coolers will run quieter & cooler.

+1 I bought my first aftermarket cooler because those stock ones are obnoxiously loud. I recommend the coolermaster hyper 212 because it works great and sits at a good price point.

well it is recommended to to get another cooler!in case of oc its really needed!
