hp pavillion g6 series cpu max upgrade

i have a hp pavillion g6 with AMD phenom 11 p960 1.8ghz quad core processor and i would like to know if and what cpu i could upgrade to i also have 4gb ram the cpu socket is socket s1g4 if you guys need anymore information just ask thanks :)

You have literally, the fastest PII processor in your socket at your TDP and voltage table. Other CPUs in that socket have higer TDPs and different voltage tables.

What performance are you dissatisfied with?

With laptops, you don't have much ability to upgrade, that's the downside of portability.

What kinda GPU do you have?

i understand that ! but there has to be atleast a small cpu upgrade and ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4200 SERIES

Says going from a 25W TDP to a 35W TDP can work, but isn't advisable. If you are dead set on trying to upgrade your CPU, that might work but its more of a gamble. Also you must watch your temps after upgrading to a 35W CPU, your cooling system might not be able to keep up
