Opinion on $700 build

Solution

I'd definitely go with a different power supply. While the Kingwin's a Super Flower (which is good), you're paying through the nose for Platinum efficiency and the fanless design on a $700 build (technically an $800 build looking at your selections). That's kind of a luxury; on a $700 build, you want to be focusing on squeezing out the goodness from parts that will have more of an actual effect on performance.

Though on principle, I'm always happy to see someone try to overpay for a PSU rather than try to underpay. Too...

That's a notebook hard drive. That's why it's a hair more expensive for less space.

But even if it wasn't, why would you be determined to spend $1 more for a similar-performing hard drive with half the space? It's not like the extra 500 GB has to be stored in your desk drawers or something.
