Right now AMD isn't doing so hot with their drivers and multiple gpus. Check out some of the benchmarks here on Tom's it's pretty clear that nvidia's sli is better.

Look into the new gtx 770, its pretty much a slightly quicker and cheaper gtx 680.

Yeah, thanks, I'm actually i between the 770 and the 7970 ghz, and since I plan buying a second in the future well yeah, so you think I should go with gtx 770?

How far into the future are you planning on buying the 2nd card? The issues with multi-card setup can just as well reverse in 5-6 months down the line with driver updates.

Like in 4 months, but nvm, I'm getting the gtx 770 cause I juat saw a benchmarking video and sli 770's perform better than a titan

The 770 is just a rebranded overclocked GTX 680. Ofcourse two of them outperform a Titan. This information is readily available in every Titan review indicating that a 690 is superior to the Titan. You may want to wait for the GTX 760 Ti since it will likely be within 5-10% the performance of the 770 and will cost 25% less. Then again, the HD 7970 can already be overclocked to outperform the 770 when discussing single card performance so it really does come down to brand preference.
