Hello,

First time poster. I have looked for hours at various advice as to how i could resolve this problem, including forum posts on Tomshardware but nothing could help me.

It's a windows 7 computer. My problem is that while it says that it is connected, the access type says "No internet Access" and Unidentified network.

I tried tweaking the IP, the default gateway and more but to no end. Tried the guy that send you to find and teak something in "Services" with hash tags in the name, but I don't have it.

The internet only works when through a local area connection. Under network connections I have 3, 1 local, two wireless. I tried disabling the second one but nothing changes.

Also deleted Bonjour..

I understand that what I have is very vague information, i'll be more than happy to provide more information if need be!

Hello!

It's a laptop, the wired connection works, but I'm trying to establish a working wireless one. There are 4 other computers that work on this router. I'm not sure if i got an IP form the router, I just worked off of "ipconfig" from the computer itself.

So you are unplugging the wired connection, restart the laptop and start the assistant for wireless networks, select your network, select the encryption mehtod (WEP, WPA,..), enter the password and get connected. Where do you get stuck on this lane?
