More about watts build
  1. A 450-500W PSU should be more than enough.

really? because the newegg psu calculator says my rig is like 485 watts and i dont think that 15 watts headroom is enough
  3. Those calculators are highly inflated. Just make sure to pick a quality PSU.

  4. Make sure the PSU has the plugs required first... my Coolermaster 460W has only 1 6 pin.

CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 is a good choice for $30, XFX Core Edition PRO550W would be better but is $55
  6. PSU calculators already figure in headroom, and lots of it. Do you think Newegg wants to recommend a unit that might not power your system? Or forget that, do you think they have any interest in underselling you for any reason?
