OK. So I have three old laptops laying around, and one desktop.

I want to build one desktop out of parts.
Ideally: Id like to combine everything somehow. So I end up having four cpus.

Laptop 1: Lenovo Thinkpad R60e "
2: Acer 15 "
3: Asus seashell 11 "

Desktop: Intel Pentium 4 prosessor på 3,4 GHz (HT) 800 MHz FSB

Intel 915P brikkesett
Nvidia GeForce 6610XL grafikkort, PCI-express med DVI og TV-ut
250 GB harddisk, 7200 rpm, SerialATA
512 MB DDR-RAM minne
16x DVD+-R/W brenner
10/100 Mbit nettverk
WLAN 802.11G trådløst nettverk
56 Kbit faxmodem
8-kanals lyd ut
1 Firewire-port bak og 1 foran
4 USB-porter bak og 2 foran
Innebygd Bluetooth-adapter
TV-kort for både analoge og digitale signaler (DVB-T)
Tilkoblingspanel i front med kortleser for de fleste formater (inkl xD-kort)

My question to you:

Is it possible to utilize the parts from these computers, to build one computer? I dont have to use ALL the parts. I imagine using the desktops box, and put the laptop parts inside there, for an example: Hdmi card -> Desktop
All harddrives-> Desktop
CPUs -> with desktop CPU.
Ram -> Desktop

About the only thing that you could do with those parts would be use the hard drives in a desktop mount if you mount them right. But they are probably older and not worth using (even if they are sata). Most laptop graphics are soldered onto the motherboards and practically nothing is compatible internally between desktops and laptops.

Hm.. No, thats not how I imagined it. I imagined using many laptop parts to build one cluster pc. Maybe I didnt write that in my question. My bad. But would that be possible? Building a cluster pc? :p

I was thinking ram x3. Cpu x3. Hd x3. You get the picture :p and all this in one case
