As yet so far I don't know how to enable dual displays with this configuration in my tower. Is there anyway to enable vga from the mother board and the dvi from my graphics card togeter to dual monitor? I know I cant use crossfire with this setup but cant I enable a lower resolution extension on a second monitor?

You can't. Dual graphic on A8 5600k only work with HD6670 and 6570. The graphic performance of a HD7770 is much higher than any IGP even the A10, so you should simply disable the IGP and use the HD7770 standalone.

As much as I love my graphics card I really need dual monitors, so It looks like I'll have to buy another 7770 vga for my old monitor to crossfire later

So youre referring to dual monitor with the 7770 standalone, right? There shouldn't be any problem with that. Did you check settings in Catalyst?

Right but theres only one DVI output. So either I stick a hdmi cablable monitor on it or nothing at all. I have the APU vga but fat lot of good that does me..... :/

You can use an adapter, like a DVI-HDMI one.

Are the HDMI > VGAs? And can the 7700 multi desktop or duo monitor with a DVI output & HDMI output? It has the capability to output both but is it a single channel ?

Then get a DVI to VGA adapter. You're not limited to the DVI-HDMI adapter, you know. Any adapter that fits both your monitor and your VGA will work.

.... You are getting slow. Dvi already to one monitor the second monitor is what this whole issue is about but HDMI > VGA adapter sounds good if the 7700 can dual channel and extend my desktop that i s.
